Hee Don Jung elected as President of AIPS Asia, next Asian Congress to be held in Seoul

ROME, October 3, 2022 – The AIPS Asia continental meeting was held today at the TH Carpegna Palace Hotel in Rome during the activities of AIPS Congress 2022. AIPS Asia concluded its election by announcing the new board for the term 2022 – 2026 with Hee Don Jung as president, and Amjad Aziz Malik as Secretary General for the third time. It was confirmed that AIPS Asia’s next congress will be held in the second week of May 2023 in Seoul, Republic of Korea.
The meeting witnessed the decision of establishing 3 new committees: A Young Reporters Training Committee chaired by Subodh Malla Barua, a Marketing Committee chaired by Asian president Hee Don Jong and a Congress and Membership Committee, chaired by Abdullah Ibrahim of UAE.
RESULTS Below are the results of the AIPS Asia elections for the term, 2022–2026:
