Decisions of the General Assembly – December 2023 / European Gymnastics Congress

- the Affiliated Federations.
During the 30th European Gymnastics Congress, held on Friday 1 and Saturday 2 December 2023 in the Bulgarian capital Sofia, the General Assembly made the following decisions:
- Athletes and officials from Russia and Belarus are not allowed to return to European Gymnastics competitions. European Gymnastics does not follow the FIG decision published on 19 July 2023.
- The Reports of the President, the Technical Committee and Medical Commission Presidents were approved.
- Finances of 2022, the forecast for 2023, and the 2024 & 2025 budgets were discussed and approved.
- The updated Statutes were approved and will be published shortly.
- The titles of ‘Honorary members’ were awarded to Maria Petrova-Mikhaylova (BUL), Hana Liskarova (CZE), Vladimir Zeman (CZE), Bernardo Tomas (POR), Oga Kyselovicova (SVK), Mircea Dumitru Apolzan (ROU), Monika Wiethoff (GER), Andrea Sinko (HUN), Heidi Marie Taksdal (NOR) and Maria Stahl (SWE).
- The 2025 Congress has been awarded to Prague (Czechia). It will be held on 28 and 29 November 2025.
